In Wisconsin I think we saw some numbers that 1 out of 6 work for the government which is flat out crazy. Maybe more like 1 out of 80 will do.
A source always helps. We go from there. But are you still up for an overall government workforce at 1960s level, as a percentage of the population? And I had also asked about how you feel this would help restore the middle class.

If we make more friendly business environment maybe some manufacturing could come back to the USA. Unions, drugs, stupid laws and lawsuits pretty much made it cheaper to leave.
Would it be purely coincidental that when we speak of restoring the middle class, we would look at the times when the unions were as strong as they ever had been?
You do realize that a lot of these countries the jobs are being outsourced to have "union problem". No? So, what makes them different?
Get business out of Washington and no policy in Washington will benefit any corporation.
Government jobs can not be unionized since unions and politicians work to benefit themselves and not the tax payers. Government employees work for the tax payers not for the special benefits at the tax payers expense.
Remove all trade restrictions, remove all HB1 visa programs, remove all working visa from other countries, secure the border. Set up the same trade agreements the foreign companies have been giving us. Realize we are the most important economy not the global economy. Make sure our money holds its value and making sure the FED is not our government printing press. Secure our wealth with gold and silver in case of global economic disasters we still hold the real PHYSICAL WEALTH NOT FED BANKERS TRUST FUNDS! Remove all personal income taxes on EVERY CITIZEN and put a 3% federal sales tax on everything expect food, clothing and housing. Make the corporate income tax 10% no exemptions.
This would be a good start to fixing most of America and the middle class.
Get the government out of the way. Stop bailing out failed companies. Stop mandating health coverage. Stop trying to control business. Let business owners run their companies as they see fit. Stop the millions of useless mandates that cost middle America money.

It would end the Bankers monopoly on our money. The only way we have currency in our system is if we have debt. That debt and interest is paid back by us. Then the money is lent to banks who use fractional reserve banking to lend even more to us and we pay more interest. It slowly erodes our purchasing power and causes massive financial ruin.

Government employees are reported as at least 300k.
Unions do nothing but blackmail buisiness out of buisiness. See Auto, Manufacturing, Stee and so forth.
In government it is like a cancer breaking the bank.
It's really funny that of the suggestions by these southern conservatives in this thread would actually reduce the middle class. But oh well, carry on.
