In New Jersey they went for over a decade without the state properly funding the state pension system and now they want government employees

Government employees did cause those problems. They were caused by poor fiscal management by the state legislators and poor leadership by governors.

You refuse to acknowledge the public unions' responsibility for the inevitable outcome of their greedy demands: unsustainable employee costs and massive public employee layoffs.

It's called economic development. You know, incentivizing economic and jobs growth thereby increasing future tax revenue. And by the way, WI Dems criticized Walker for not doing enough in regards to those tax cuts and tax breaks:

No, I acknowledge that ALL PARTIES are responsible for the inevitable outcome of Lazy, Clueless and Corrupt Politicians and the Smart Greed of the Unions. You however want to continue to give these Politicians a pass and place the FULL blame on the Unions. Unfortunately they are not the ONLY ONE'S being paid for and work for the tax payers. But hey, continue blindly accepting the script Idiot Politicians have written for you.

Nenadal, who is a member of the Costa Mesa Employees Association, criticized the city's layoffs and said the city was not concerned about the health and safety of its employees.

"You can't do this so fast and think that there's not going to be repercussions,” she said.
Don't lay us off or there will be repercussions! Like us doing swan dives off tall structures.

They don't care. As long as they get theirs is all that matters. Screw the taxpayers, screw private employees, hell, screw my fellow union workers! Just keep my checks coming.

You continue to focus on 2010/2011, never mind this debt has been piling up FOR YEARS. Yes it was smart because the Governors and Legislatures were too damned lazy to do the math. If the pension liability was already in the negative 10 years ago, WHY in the hell would they continue to let it pile up? The UNIONS did not and do not control the passing and signing budgets, unless there's a constitution out there I wasn't aware of.

Goes back to parenting.

No one taught them how to deal with the real world, when they were young.

Over protective parents, place citizens in the world that cannot deal with reality.
They have to learn the hard way when they are young, in order to deal with it after they get out on their own.
