That is how unions work.

My Dad was a supervisor for many years over unions workers and had to deal with drunks and druggies coming to work like this and the unions fought for them every step of the way after he fired them.

Dad won every case as he was smart enough to have a long rap sheet ready to use on those drunks when it came time fight it out. On the rap sheet was of course normal union things such as showing up late, leaving early, stealing company items, coming to work drunk or high, sleeping on the job etc etc.

Well of course he can't be fired..that job is HIS RIGHT. That's what the unions protect.

Well, he can be tried for negligent homicide. Tough to drive a bus when you're inside Rikers Island paying for your crimes.
