What's wrong with that? If you, as a boss, can save your company money by cutting labor costs, then you deserve a bonus.

I'd axe their healthcare and fire half my staff if it meant a couple thousand extra bucks in my pocket.

I'm all for bonuses because I earn them However ,once upon a time a bonus was earned, not handed out.

What gets me is that CEO's collect bonuses even as their company fails. If the business is going down you do not collect your bonus.

If the company doesn't make money there is no more company.
I take it the CEOs came from companies making money, if not the board should fire whoever made the contract.

your not doing your job. Failure = not doing your job. But some segments of America accept failure and collect their bonus. And we wonder why we are in our current situation.

Nothing wrong with that. If I were boss, I'd replace half the staff with illegal immigrants and outsource the rest.
