ALL medical personnel, and anyone working in or with a medical facility, are subject to HIPPA laws. That means that ALL medical personnel are not allowed to discuss any patients medical conditions, release medical information, x-rays, photos, names, prescriptions, etc. HIPPA was created to protect us all from discrimination due to our medical histories, therefore, our medical histories must be protected.
As such, the EMT broke HIPPA laws. Just ask any medical personnel you know.
