A Bipartisan decision by congress was what Holder failed to mention.

He did use the copyrighted Obama phrase, 'let me be clear'.

Holder just initiated Obama's downfall with his plaintive cries of, it wasn't my idea and I know better than congress and the 9.11 contingent. His whiney excuses were indeed very clear and revealed the fumbling that characterizes Obama, his justice dept and all his socialist minions.

Perception is reality and most will take this announcement as an attempt to kick off Obama's 2012 campaign but my oh my did it backfire.

Thanks Eric! You got the ACLU and the 9.11 families untited in their disapproval of Obama and all he stands for.

Pretty much considering that Congress clearly put forth that they would no fund the transfer of Guantanamo detainees to the U.S. Now of course the administration could just close Guantanmo and release the detainees but campaign promises aside, no responsible administration would do that. So given the alternatives what would you suggest?

Anyone REALLY interested in the topic beyond the simple minded and jejune blatherings from the right or the left, I would suggest reading the following article (I won't be holding my breath).
