Yep, he pretty much hit on all the disgusting hyperbole of obama's CAMPAIGN speech. This wasn't a serious policy speech about the debt/deficit and spending, this was just more of the same from the most divisive president this country has ever known.

Paul Ryan Reaction | Obama's Budget Reduction Address | Video | Mediaite

Quote:
GOP leadership followed the speech by delivering a reaction that can best be described by Ryan’s comment that the president wasn’t “building bridges but poisoning wells.” Ryan admitted that he had high expectations for Obama’s speech, saying “I was excited when I was excited when I was invited to his speech today” adding that he saw it as an “olive branch” but found it to be “excessively partisan, dramatically inaccurate and hopelessly inadequate to addressing our country’s fiscal challenges.”
The classlessness of obama just keeps on shining through.

Ryan objects to being the brunt, what will be many months, of joke and ridicule.

Thanks for posting this Sanrene. Everyone knows you are real concerned about "partisanship".

I've enjoyed all the post of yours pointing out excessive partisanship on those rare occasion it occurs from Conservatives.

If you are saying it's too partisan...it must be.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

What did you expect? Ryan copied the proposal from the bi-partisan panel, and presented it as his own, and now Obama proposed more or less the same thing, and he slams it in his bitterly partisan response. If he slams the other two proposals which have surprisinly much common ground with his own, then he pretty much slams his own proposal.

Considering the recent polls, which say that people are opposed to raising the debt ceiling AND they don't think Ryan's budget goes too far, you and obama are once again on the wrong side of the issue.

Are you proposing some sort of "mob rule" budget?

Have to ask yourself - why would obama invite Ryan to attend the speech and then turn on him like a rabid, frothing dog?

The only people who would like that kind of behavior is his far Left base of kooks and nuts.
