METRO NEWS BRIEFS: NEW JERSEY; Trump and State Defend Attempt to Seize Property - New York Times

Donald Trump tried to use eminent domain to seize a then 70 year old woman's house that is surrounded by Trump's casino. He wanted the city to condemn the property and use eminent domain to take over her property after she refused to accept Trump's offer of money to buy her property. Luckily, he lost

IN BRIEF; It's Official: Trump Won't Get Atlantic City House - New York Times

Even though this was back in 1998, I can't ever agree that Trump was in the right mind to do this.

I wasn't gonna vote for Trump in the primaries, but for those that were....

I thought he was an honest, hard working, Christian, Libertarian, anti-spending, anti-big government, moralists, type of guy.

I never trusted billionaires and was not gonna vote for him in the primaries. Sorry for my fellow conservatives on here, but I refuse to ignore a big issue like this just because Trump might be running for the GOP. Let the chips fall where they may. This guy is crooked from the beginning. He may talk tough, but if he uses hostile tactics like this on the little guy, then he's lost all respect for me. Someone who uses government power to violate property rights like this, is evil in my book.

Trump's anti-gun beliefs and history of political donations to left leaning politicians are enough to keep me from voting for him.

Thanks for finding this guys. This guy does not deserve to be in the GOP. I was starting to like him because of his tough talk, but I started to probe him tonight, and I found that, in addition to what you guys found. This guy is crooked as hell, and a major flip-flopper and RINO, worse than Romney. And as someone who believes in property rights, this guy is in no way compatible with me. I think he's positioning himself to be the GOP spoiler too if he runs as an independent. The guy is a billionaire and the media is starting to warm up to him. I smell a stench of corruption around him

Trump will only ever put Trump first. America will always be a distant second for him.

I remember when that happened........ it sickened me and I have never forgotten it.

Doesn't Trump have enough?

He should have left that poor woman alone.

I still get pi**ed when I think about it.
