I don't approve of Obama's stance on the Iraq/Afghanistan war. I don't approve of his wreckless spending. I don't approve of our engagement of Libya. I don't think he is doing enough to create jobs in the United States and limit outsourcing.

Why do most conservatives criticize Obama for personal issues and not his policy?

Because they're too stupid to understand policies...it's easier(lazier) to try to stir up a storm by criticizing him for not wearing a jacket in the Oval Office or for not playing Easter bunny to christians or for not being invited to a wedding....simple is as simple DOES!

U.S. Jobless Rate Soared in January and Payrolls Kept Plunging - Bloomberg

As the chart and link clearly show; this is all Obama's fault.

So telling him to go back to Africa is not a critique of his policies? Comparing him to a monkey is not a critique of his policies?

Why did birther stuff get going? Obama had relatives tell people that he was born in Africa and that they were there. Also Hillary, Bill and others in the Democrat party started this in 2007.

People have been screaming about Obamacare, socialism, the take over of GM and giving it to unions.
We've been talking about the government unions getting most of the stimulus when the private sector was who needed it.
We got into the need for a balanced budget amendment.

There were side issues that Obama's lifestyle caused to come to a debate. He having in Chicago been in a radical racist church did make waves. Reverend Write, his association with murderer Ailes and so forth all are issues that have been discussed and will probably continue to be so.

Most would say the election of a black President was wonderful and shows there is no limitations for the most part in America, that aside the man as a President is a disaster and all that has been the subject of debate.

Where have you been that you believe we only talk mostly gossip here?
I respectfully disagree with you.
If you listen to the actual unedited tape of that relative, you'll find that she never said Obama was born in Africa. The interviewer manipulated what she actually said.

Which gets to the OP's point - so many Obama opposers are so easily deceived by charlatans because they are obsessed with Obama as a person and not his policies that they seek to be proven right in their distrust of this different type of person.
