I tend to agree with you And that includes our

Apparently not, since this thread of intelligence that LED to UBL was gleaned and initiated under Bush.

Bin Laden was found at luxurious Pakistan compound - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20110502/ts_nm/us_binladen_compound_1 - broken link)

Quote:
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. forces finally found al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden not in the rugged mountains of Afghanistan's border, but in a million-dollar compound in an upscale suburb of Pakistan's capital, with his youngest wife, U.S. officials said early on Monday.

They were led to the fortress-like three-story building after more than four years tracking one of bin Laden's most trusted couriers, whom U.S. officials said was identified by men captured after the September 11, 2001 attacks.
The Pakistani military has some explaining to do, I would think.

Osama was killed, but then "quickly buried at sea"...

I fell for it too last night - until I saw this when I woke up.

What does it take to sign off on an operation after receiving intelligence that other people worked hard to gather?
If they are hoping this helps him win an election then they have a lot to learn.

So now one single thing happens after 2 1/2 years of a total disaster and this all of a sudden fixes the fact that Obama is in way over his head and has nearly destroyed America financially and they want a second term?

Amazing that anyone would be stupid enough for vote for a man who has made so many mistakes and has failed at every important issue under his watch and they are already crowning him for another 4 years.

Americans are not that stupid to know that Obama is still a failure.

Only a stupid person who vote for this man based on his horrific record.

Again liberals really believed we went to Iraq for oil.

We did not get a single drop of Iraqi oil.

Yes, Pakistan has a lot of explaining to do.

We need to stop sending them our tax payer money and start demanding answers.

They had to know something and failed to let us in on it.

This is an incredible event stamped with President Obama's signature and solidifies Obama as one of the great presidents. While Republicans were chasing their tails completely impotent in their pursuit of the person responsible for 9/11 during Bush's joke of a presidency, Obama led the precision effort. He's only three years into his first term, and on top of all the other positive solutions he has implemented, he has killed bin Laden. He has been a fine president. Change has come to America!

This great event also underlines the complete irrelevancy of the GOP, and how ridiculous they continue to sound trying to spin this in a negative fashion even after proving that they are clueless when in charge.
