I would have to agree. Sometimes Gullible or too trusting as well.

Mmhmm. The voters are not dumb. They're just busy playing the Ford vs. Chevy, Yankees vs. Red Sox, Eagles vs. Cowboys political non-sense

I don't think dumb and I really don't think uninformed, just uninformed in what matters. People are controlled by the elites so they are very informed about Obamas birth, on both sides of the isles, they can recite and parrot detailed information.

They are also very informed in the talking points regarding taxation.

The problem is they are just having their strings pulled to distract them from what the elite are doing.

The majority of US citizens are not glued to the internet political sites, nor have MSNBC, or Fox news running loud all day.

They may hear some news in the morning, on the way to do what ever they do during the day. Some may catch the evening news on the local channel.

Nothing to the extent of being educated about what is going on in the world.

Depends. You would have to break it down provincially. Like "Hollywood" = Absolutely Dumb. Denver = fairly intelligent (for example). We would be hard pressed to get anything vaguely accurate if we were to broad-brush the nation as a whole.

Short answer: yes.

Longer answer: perhaps not most. We are easily the most self-absorbed, uninformed and uneducated population in the West, generally speaking.

The Internet makes it worse. People believe what they read, especially if it validates their prejudices. After a while they stop listening to any source that doesn't validate their prejudices.

Some people are just honestly ignorant. That can be fixed. The ones that continue to believe nonsense even after all reasonable doubt is gone, or do so in some kind of flagrant logical fallacy are something else entirely.

I knew there was a reason I love Denver.. Hollywood just seems to be a bunch of followers, although there have been a few to speak out and act interested.
