Can't wait to see him acting on his threat. But then, if tears didn't roll down his cheeks as he spoke those words, they just might not be genuine.

Boehner need to be more specific about what he is going to cut. Democrats need to address entitlements and spending, while the Republicans need to look at possibly raising taxes and investing in infrastructures that are critical to America's economy in the long term.

Boehner is for cutting everything and anything just so long as it is outside his district.

Since when has government ever used our tax dollars wisely?

Would be a good question to ask Boehner. He represents the government and in fact, happens to be in a leadership position.

We need a balanced budget amendment. No group of politicians can seem to not spend poorly our money.
Everything needs to go on budget, then do the balanced budget amendment and be done with it.

Once people have to pay for what they can get in real time, the BS will go away and we will get our country solvent again IMO.

Hopefully the GOP get more tea party folks in the next election in the House and Senate along with majorities and a GOP President.
Obama has done lots of damage that needs to be repaired.
We need people willing to do the unpopular tough things to make America solvent again.

I agree, with all the access to the treasury the Democrats have been diving into the treasury in the last bunch of decades the Republicans have been passive instead of decisive since many of the public are paid for their vote through the dole, government employment and other social expenditures.
Republicans need to have enough of the tea party folks within so they are forced to do the right thing with budgets.
Everything on budget and a Balanced Budget Amendment would force responsibility in spending. Time to get that done IMO.
