As the Treasury Department announced its collecting more tax revenue but still not enough to reduce the federal budget deficit below $1.4 trillion for the year, President Obama is meeting with congressional Democrats to develop a long-term approach to cutting the deficit.

The get-together Wednesday on White House grounds with the entire Democratic caucus is the first of two gatherings the president has called as talks stall over where to find compromise in reducing the budget. Obama is scheduled to meet Thursday with congressional Republicans.

Obama Hosts Congressional Members After Talks Get Stuck on Tax Increases, Entitlement Spending - FoxNews.com

Under Obama more blacks have lost their job! The housing market is facing a double dip. No more Bush blaming! It is now Obama's era....he is 3 years in office and the killing of Osama is not getting our gas prices low or creating jobs.

Obama probably will add some government jobs to audit more people to collect more tax money, get more flash camera's to collect more money from traffic tickets, etc...

Where are his campaign promises of "hope and change"...this is not the change any one was looking for, not even the ones who didn't vote for him because a failing Obama is a failing USA!

But wait a minute -- didn't we already have a "recovery summer"

Unfortunately it looks like Obama is more interested in campaigning than governing. Which isn't surprising since it has become obvious to a lot of folks that he's a lot better at the former than the latter.

Default Bad economy...unemployment, debt ceiling...Congress needs to get out of the way!

His horrible plan was no worse than most republican plans on manipulating the economy. Only difference is who gets what. One thing is for sure, the working stiff got the shaft yet again.
