The correct answer is Straight. I was born heterosexual. My friend was born gay. Always liked girls. Married twice to fit in. But eventually gave up the facade. I shouldn't have to pretend to be white to get a job and gays shouldn't have to pretend to be straight.

The vast majority of men who molest children (boys or girls) and have an adult sexual orientation, are heterosexual, not homosexual. This is supported by all the studies in this field.

2. Because Ugandans are persecuting gays, you make the extrapolation that they are doing so because they are Christian, with the stated inference that Christians hate gays. The statement is not that Ugandans are killing gays, but it is Christians in particular that are killing gays (you contend).

4. You completely give a pass to the Muslim nations in which being gay is punishable by death- it is the law. In your mind Muslims killing gays is perfectly fine. Therefore it is not an issue (with you) of gays being killed, it is simply an issue of who is doing the killing. Gays killed at the hands of Muslims is fine. Gays killed at the hands of presumed Christians is not fine.

The fact that that bill was basically created with the aide of Christian conservatives in the United States proves that. I would make the same assessment if we were talking about Iran and Islam. Iranians kill gays in the name of Islam, because that's what their theocracy tells them to do.

I've never expressed anything on this board that comes close to the bigotry of the anti gay crowd. You can't accuse someone of bigotry when you lie about what the person even said.
No clue how I can hate Christianity as a follower of Christ. You're just being absurd because I state one country with an overwhelmingly Christian population is trying to kill gays in the name of God. That's not bigotry, that's fact. Iran is just as vile as Uganda. Would you accuse me of being anti Christian if I said Catholics burned women at the stake for being witches?

You think gays pretend just because they want to? They pretend to be straight for a lot of reasons like: trying to fit in with what their parents and society thinks they should be. They pretend to keep from getting bullied or picked. They pretend to get and hold jobs. They pretend because some still have ambivalent feelings and they need more time to work them out before coming out of the closet. They pretend to get housing. They pretend because it's hard, not knowing if they will be accepted or rejected in their daily travels. They pretend because they know their very religious parents will disown them. The list goes on and it's heartbreaking that gays still feel the need to pretend in 2011....................
Their pretending even has its parallels in black history, when those individuals were light skinned enough to get away with it pretended to be white just to make their lives easier.
