Why do most homosexuals compare their problems to black people? (activist, racism)

Whenever homosexuals are being discriminated against, a great number of these people would often play the race card comparing their problems to blacks. Why is that?

Of course when they face anti-gay attitudes from any race, they always put their blame on blacks.

Homosexual activists saw the great success that those in the 1960's Civil Rights Movement had in garnering sympathy from mainstream America and now they are trying to tie two different social issues together in an attempt to catch a little of that thunder.

In most cases yes, but not all.

This man for example chose to live his life as a Black person, even though he did not have to.


He could have easily lived his life as a Nonblack person and the vast majority of people would have believed him if he told them he was not Black.

Gay activists are looking for moral equivalents to justify their immorality. It is totally invalid. Homosexuality is a sin and should not be condoned by a moral society. Being of any race is not a sin, and racism is wrong. Disapproving of immoral behavior is not wrong.
