OK - so I KNOW no one on this board would DARE voice a vehement political opinion without first doing at least enough research to not sound like a complete mouth-breathing ignorant redneck moron....
And I'm sure this is totally unnecessary b/c all of you are as well-versed on the I-P conflict as you are on constitutional law and the legality of short form birth certificates... BUT I think a couple-a folks might need to dust off their history books or perhaps even use the internets - a system of tubes:
Was there ever any real doubt where Obama stood? Sadly, I'm not surprised. Obama has fulfilled every bad pre-election fear I ever had about him.
I will stand with Israel regardless of Obama showing his backside to them.
You will stand with Israel, but not with the United States?
You do realize that this is not new American policy? It's not Obama policy. GW Bush wanted a return to the 1967 borders as well, while recognizing that over four decades some of the geography has changed, and so Israel would compensate by ceding land to Palestine.
I guess the wing-nuts supported the two state solution when Bush supported it, and now that oppose it because Obama supports it. Go figure
I guess you are just incapable of understanding. They want PRE 1967 borders. They are beat, they started a war where they lost that land. Bush supported a different border layout. The REAL reason they want those parts of Israel is because they want to make Jerusalem the heart of their Caliphate.

No, Bush didn't want the pre 1967 border layout. He wanted a different layout, pretty much how it is now minus the extra settlements.

That's why in a 2008 speech, he said that he didn't want the Palestine/Israel border to ENTIRELY go back to pre-1967 borders. If he didn't want pre-1967 borders, why bring them up at all?

Do you know what the word ENTIRELY means? So NO he didn't want the pre 1967 borders. It IS either that layout or it IS NOT. When something isn't ENTIRELY adopted it is now something different.

Yep, Bush supported it and so does Israel. Some people sure need to do their homework before coming here to embarrass themselves.

Oh for heavens sake........ NO THEY DID/DO NOT SUPPORT THE PRE 1967 BORDERS! Talk about embarassing yourself, DC even admitted that Bush didn't want to return ENTIRELY to the pre 1967 borders. Do YOU know what ENTIRELY means?
The man simply has reinforced my faith in him and he truly stands for justice and equality, and is not a sell-out to the Israeli lobby.
What the confused right fails to acknowledge is that even if Jesus whom they so love were to be asked, he would support the Palestinians to have a state of their own. But as usual, the right is unfortunately all about everything that is not right LMAO.
That's very christian of you, folks. Shame!
