a lot of tea party supporters still have jobs and have to work on weekdays.
What a lame excuse! Every time a tea party/conservative rally flops, that is the excuse given, even in Wisconsin where some of the protests were on the weekends. Maybe, just maybe, there isn't as much support for the TP as there used to be, when they could draw out huge crowds in mid-week. Also, Donald Trump was supposed to be there, but cancelled. That could have something to do with the low turnout.

Lame, lame, lame! They were expecting 2000 until Trump cancelled out. See my previous post, I'm not going to repeat it all.

Big time, though it's not in the right wing mentality to ever be adults and admit when they are wrong or failing. The tea party is done

Not the conservative "movement", whatever that may be. There have always been conservatives. I think the Tea Party movement is losing its luster.

You would think in blood-red SC there would be more than this for a turnout.
30-40? Looks like 2 to me.
