Several posters have tried to make the point that Netanyahu is controversial in Israel due to his hard-line stance. And it's very rude to insult the sitting president of a country that helps to defend your very existence, financially, militarily and diplomatically.
I didn't think that PM Netanyahu was disrespectful in the slightest. He was polite without being deferential and firm without being insulting. He represented his country's interest well.

He embarrassed obama and also taught him a bit about history - ALL well deserved, considering the unrealistic "plans" he has for Israel. No other president has gone off the deep end of palestinian sympathy like this president.
