Default Russian official says maybe U.S. should send astronauts to space with a trampoline.

That was funny. If you are offended though, realize that it was the unfunded Republican wars in the middle east that sapped the treasury and made it impossible for the US to afford things like a space program (well we do have one but it is aimed at giving carnival rides to the wealthy now). We will be paying for Bush and Cheney generations from now in many ways we can't even imagine yet.

The replacements for the Shuttles was the Constellation program started under Bush, that was axed by Obama and it had nothing to do with lack of funding.
