That is because it didn't happen inside a bar... the place where everybody would have carried a gun, surely.

I haven't heard of anyone suggesting everyone be armed or that doing so would eliminate murder-suicides and crime

Do you suppose a better idea would be to disarm the entire public and permit the possesion of weapons only for agents of the state?
Surely they won't take advantage of a disarmed populace.

There is a post on a man who committed suicide by drowning himself.

Isn't here a a current story about a mother who killed her daughter and the body was found in the trunk?

There was story a little while back about a mother who drowned all five a her kids in a car.

Point is, if someone is of that intent NO law will stop them.

So you believe if only criminals were armed we'd all be safer.

Your linked article states the shooter was under a protective order. As a result of that he was not legally permitted to possess firearms. It seems the law banning possession did nothing to prevent a criminal from killing people. No surprises there, criminals don't obey laws.

Your post implies you believe more restrictions would somehow have prevented this. Please explain how further restricting the rights of law abiding citizens will convince criminals to obey the law.

It's both pathetic and disgusting the way the anti-gun crowd leaps on every tragedy in an attempt to further their agenda.

I love the republican lawmaker's idea to fight crime.

More guns for everyone!
