This is the biggest challenge to what America is supposed to be...

You can't start making exceptions to our freedoms or you head down that slippery slope.

I'm as dis-trusting as the next guy after what has been perpetrated against the United States in the name of Islam, but where do you draw the line?

I can appreciate why the particular set of parents in the news report desire to have their daughter receive a faith-based education. That's one set of parents, though, and only one teacher interviewed. How many students in Islamic schools across the country are sent to those schools in particular to keep them from interacting with non Muslims?

So? I have a friend that was sent to a Jewish school so she wouldn't associate with secular people... I also know a lot of people who were sent to Christian/Catholic private schools to keep them away from the 'evils' of the real world. I see this as no different.

It is different because these are Muslims and we all know Muslims are evil.
