Luxury Foreign CAr , BMW 7 series etc. - They want everyone to know that they have money, whether they actually have money or not.

Prius - the main statement is I am not a Redneck. They could also be saying I am environmentally conscious. They are not saying that I am practical, because despite the savings in gas you still have to pay more for the car than you save in gas.

Subaru Outback - You are saying I am liberal, but I like to get out there are have fun, whether you actually do or not.

Honda Accord - You are saying, that I don't care about status. I am more practical.

Suburban or Mega SUV - You are telling me people that you are an idiot. It does not matter if it will fit in a parking space and only gets 8 miles to the gallon. Usually driven by women who have Penis envy.

Mustang - Corvette - Modern day muscle car - What you are trying to tell people is that you are manly or a bad ass woman. What people actually receive is that you are probably compensating for having a small wanker or the fact that you are 5'2.

Thoughts.
How about I drive my cars for utilitarian purposes? I want to get from point A to point B comfortably and safely. I'm a big man - 6'6", 275lbs - (or married to one) and I don't fit into the tiny tin cans that you little folks drive.

Here, I am only talking about cars, and I should have be clearer on my stereotypes. Why is it that you have so many cars - mustang, ford truck, two four sedans?
The sedans are driven by the family, the mustang is MINE, or at least sometimes, the truck I am restoring, will be done next month AT LAST, (79 Ford with 72K in mileage), I live in the country and a truck is a must. The Mustang is for fun in the sun with family. The Bikes, one is 72 Yamaha RD400 classic, a Ducati Monster for speed, and my new baby, a 2011 HD Fat Bob for cruising. Boats are for fun on the water, I inherited 2 and had two to begin with, one classic Glastron, a Ranger, a Cajun and a Bowrider for skiing fun in the sun.
FYI, I own all of them outright, so much for us moderates and libs living off Uncle Sam eh

To be fair.. if my friend who is 6'5 and 340 lbs can fit into a VW beetle, you can too!

(It's a little funny, though )

Maybe before the hip/knee replacements...not anymore.

And I did stipulate "comfortably."

Well, we'd never get one and the car she bought was a small SUV...it's just like how I love Escalades but will probably never get one. It's insanely impractical.
