personally i dont buy cars to make a statement, i buy cars because i like them and want to drive them. the ONLY thing you could surmise from the cars i own is that i prefer vintage cars over modern ones.
For the last 10 years or so I've driven the same 2 vehicles, a Mazda 4 X 4 truck for playing
off road and a Dodge Spirit as an everyday driver. I recently sold both due to a disability(age!), the
truck was too high from the ground for me to easily get in and out of, the car was easy getting into
but very difficult to get out of because it was too low to the ground. I bought a Dodge Grand Caravan
for ease of entry AND exit, I guess my statement is I'm getting old!
I only know of one Smart Car owner. He and his wife are wealthy, retired and still have the first dollar they ever made. They are both Tea Bag conservatives and the nicest people you'd ever meet. Their statement with this car is practicality.
Actually, not really. The car is not that practical. At least when you compare it to other similar costing cars. Practical is not what this car says. For the price, a Honda civic would certainly be more practical..., storage space, reliability etc.
No, I think they are saying we have not responsibilites. Kind of goes back to the kids thing, although I like the fact that you can park the car wherever you want. I guess if you lived in a big city where space is limited this would be a very practical car, other than that I will stick to my earlier assesment.

Oh, this is so funny.
My friend is the BIGGEST liberal flaming democrat you'd ever meet. So is his wife.
He bought the car for it's "cheapness" and high gas mileage.

A lot of different people drive the Caravan. I don't think I could create a stereotype based on that one.
What about people who drive a truck and actually use it on a regular basis for things around the house or day to day life?
