Oh, the irony ... It's been reported that Chris Hansen, host of 'To Catch a Predator,' the controversial 'Dateline' show that uses hidden cameras to trap would-be perverts in sting operations, has been caught cheating on his wife ... in a sting operation using hidden cameras.
I'm sorry, but after Weinergate I can't work up too much outrage for this. Hansen is a stand-up reporter and I loved his To Catch a Liberal Pervert series. So he's having an affair? He's not much different from 75% of other men out there. Ultimately it's a private issue between him and his wife.
At least he wasn't caught with a stash of child porn. Now that would be a true sting operation.

If he had been caught trying to cheat on his wife with a 14 yr old he met in a chat room....THEN it would be truly ironic.

Yup, sex predators are all Liberals. Just like Mark Foley.
At least he was with a woman of legal age. He's still a cheating jerk....but he was legal. I wouldn't call it hypocrisy because his show was about illegal activity.
What is "typical," is that people set a higher standard of proper ethical and moral conduct for conservatives, then they do for liberals.
Only conservatives do that, nobody else.
