It appears that the Dominique Strauss Kahn case is on lifesupport and will be dismissed. If it is proven that this lady did falsely accuse him in order to get money, what sort of punishment does she deserve? I think these women deserve an equal punishment. This lady has ruined this man's life; his reputation tarnished. Remember the Duke lacrosse case?

In this day and age, I think it's time for a bit of a reactionary "masculinist" movement to counter a lot of the biases forming against men. Divorce court, child custody hearings and false sexual assault/rape accusations. They are very damaging.

A woman who cries rape is just as disgusting as any other person who falsely accuses somebody of a crime. Now, I'm neither a radical feminist nor radical liberal, but that is my opinion, nonetheless.

I'm not going to try to equal the two crimes of false accusation vs assault/rape, but IMO, if "crying rape" isn't at least some degree of felony already, then it should be.

#1. The rape isn't what is in question. They're not suggesting she lied about the rape.

It appears that she's generally a liar (on her asylum application) and associates with some unsavory characters.

They're not dismissing the case they're taking him off of house arrest.

Frankly, I believe this goes to the heart of the illegal immigration problem we have in this country.

If she lied on her asylum application, and associates with drug dealers - will she be deported when this case is over?

Of course not. We'd rather deport those who killed themselves to get here and kill themselves working here day after day first, not illegals like this lady.

Sorry, this looks trollish...because the question is so odd.

Why would radical feminists be compared to liberals?

Why would either group not think false charges of any kind aren't wrong?

The title is misleading, it hasn't been proven that the woman in this case "cried rape" falsley.

There was no bias against men.

Men are quite capable of falsely accusing others....and have done so.

""""Divorce court, child custody hearings and false sexual assault/rape accusations. They are very damaging."""

How would divorce court and child custody hearings be damaging??

They are necessities ...don't think one case in particular was fair? Hire a lawyer.

ALL false accusations are damaging....why do you thinnk only the ones against men are damaging?

The Duke Lacrosse case is a perfect case of the two groups plus the likes of Al Sharpton et al. doing exactly what the OP is posting.

These people are also on a crusade against the Greek system along similar lines.

believe the poster was referring to fraternities at colleges and universities. I think they tend to get a bad rap, most fraternity men are fine folks, but there are also some real scumbags in them. IMO they (fraternities) don't get bad reputations for nothing
