Fellow Centrists

who annoys you more? The far right or the far left and why

as for myself I used to be way more irritated by the far left when I lived in Oregon but after living in Texas the last few years I find myself more annoyed by the far right..................the grass is always greener on the other side I guess.......haha

Where is this magical center that you speak of? Dems are wanna be Republicans and Republicans are frickin' crazy.

Its kind of hard to find the center when the "most liberal" President is more right than Nixon.

I hate both parties. Neither are left or right, they are corporatists, serving their bankster bosses and those corporate elites that bankroll their elections

Most of our recent presidents have been centrists.

LBJ was our last true liberal president- much more liberal than JFK. He ram-rodded through the Civil Rights Act and Medicare, which JFK was politically unwilling or unable to do (didn't want to **** off the Blue Dogs).

Carter was a center-right Dem who was a born-again Christian. Clinton was a center-right Dem who performed like a Republican (our best "Republican" president since Eisenhower, IMO).

Both Bush's were moderates. Reagan was probably the most conservative recent president, but even he would feel a little ill-at-ease in today's fruit cake GOP- at least Reagan knew enough to raise taxes and retreat from war zones when necessary.

I consider Obama a straight down the middle centrist/pragmatist. LOL at everyone who thinks he's a socialist- if only!

Far right.

The far left is so full of moonbeam anarchists they cannot seem to get anything done. Smoke too much grass I guess.

The far right is intellectually vacant, but surprisingly potent. The military, religious, antitax, business folks work together pretty well even if their vision is usually destructive and militant. Maybe it just that their people vote, and don't **** around.

Which side carries guns and actually shoots people?
'Annoyed' may not be the right word for what I feel.

As someone who hates big government and big corporations, I consider myself quite centrist, or more exactly, right-of-center to be precise.

That said, the far left is considerably more detestable, they are always looking for a handout, to live off of others' hard work, in debates use emotion instead of facts, and as a whole are generally less successful in business and life.
