Norwegian TV2 reports that Breivik belongs to "ring-wing circles" in Oslo. Swedish news site Expressen adds that he has been known to write to right-wing forums in Norway, is a self-described nationalist and has also written a number of posts critical of Islam.

I believe EdwardA was talking about the German Social Democratic Party (SPD), not the National Socialist Workers Party (Nazis). When Hitler gained power, he banned the SPD and sent many of them to the concentration camps.
After 20 pages of accusations of Muslim extremists I've not yet seen one of those making these accusations admit they were wrong, but then again, when you listen to Fox and Limbaugh that's not surprising, as being wrong is normal.
In fairness, no one here who accused Sarah Palin of the Tuscon shooting admitted they were wrong either.

Absolutely sickening... and I mean that literally...
And it goes beyond the dead and the wounded. Imagine the enduring psychological horror of the survivors. Imagine the continuing emotional pain that will be felt from this. Those who are now young children will hurt from this probably until this century is out.
If there was ever a reason to loan Norway a gas chamber or electric chair this would be it.
