Obama has shown zero leadership, especially with regards to this debt fiasco. Instead of trying to scare the public, he should be thumping some skulls up there in Washington. Crushing heads on the left and the right.
THAT would get him reelected. Not snivelling to the public every time he's ignored.

You don't know jack about what works with Washington types and you wouldn't recognize real leadership even if it was a dead ringer for your next child.

Perhaps what the OP wants is a dictator s/he can support.

Obama isn't scaring the public. As a real leader he is empowering US in this decision. In his televised address, he outlined two strategies, extolled the benefits of his, and then asked US to call our congresspeople to tell them what to do. Those are the facts. That's how things should be in a democracy.

All you people who want him or someone else to take care of our problems are doing two things: playing a victim and removing yourself from participation in the process.

This guy is out of his mind. Chasing butterflies, 2 nuggets short of a happy meal, whatever you want to call it.

Can you name one thing that he has shown leadership on--besides his ramming of obamacare through Congress?

He's shown he'd make an effective Senator...but he's shown zero ability to lead in a crisis.

Someone with character and personal integrity would be a step up.
