You know what they were saying. Calling Obama a loser because of either the deficit or the economy is disingenuous in in the extreme, and you know it. This slimy smearing of Obama with the mortgage meltdown is really a disgrace for the right. It is plain as a fart in the bathtub.
Now, we all want the economy to improve, but I have seen almost no evidence that any Republican congressman or senator wants to work with Obama to fix it. It is all about sliming his efforts, and proposing completely partisan efforts instead. HE .............MUST............. Utter crap. How exactly was he "shrewd"? The debt situation handed him a golden opportunity and he booted it. Pretending to be an adult would have been the shrewd thing to do. Saying he would work hard to avoid default would have been shrewd. Saying he would prioritize payments to minimize disruptions would have been shrewd. Well I'm not sure it that's the MOST accurate, but it might be pretty close. I wouldn't characterize obama as a con artist. A con artist who needs a teleprompter to perpetrate a con wouldn't survive too long. Obama so far has avoided all of the "tough choices" he loves to talk about. He's in uncharted waters, never before having had to deal with a situation where people disagreed with him - he's acclimated to receiving Nobel prizes just for being who - or what - he is (exactly like Carter and Gore)...
So who is the loser again? The POTUS or the guy who was "grossly unprepared" to run a hardly better then an high school football team after he bought it?
