Yes.

Both recessions were created by the Federal Reserves and with the help of the government & Federal Reserves (yes, the one who created the problem) that turn into a depression.

The only different between then and now is then, the currency is back by gold, so they cannot be freely printed. Now, they can be free printed.

That's an interesting take. Please explain in detail exactly which polices you are speaking of. Who was in control of congress at those times? What was the date these policies went into effect?

Can you do that or is this just anoter baseless rant to try to shift the focus awat from Obama's numerous failures?

I noticed how you changed the topic from people running out of unemployment today, to 2008.. Cant even stay focused on your own thread?

Democrats have held Congress since 2007, nice try but your re-writing of history isnt going to work..

The Unemployment Rate ran up during the last months of Cheney/Bush... How's the GOP/Tea Party dealing with Unemployment?... Tax cuts for the rich?... Cutting programs?... Clinton hiked the tax rate 3% and the economy boomed... Just like when the tax cuts will expire in 2012... The economy will recover and jobs will be created...

Epic fail. Right wing "trickle down" fiscal policies have always been a colossal failure. Reagan = recession, bush = recession, Clinton = booming economy, Bush 2 = horrific destruction of the economy. That's why the democrats absolutely destroyed the republicans at the polls, taking back the house and senate in 06'. The american people absolutely had it with the terrible job the republicans were doing.
