As a black man and a life long comic book reader, I don't like it!
It's pandering!! And it's so obvious, that any black person should be offended.
Sure....these charcaters are not "REAL". That's the ususal rebuttal you get.....
I guess we didn't know that! Right???
Real or not, these characters have established back stories and are beloved.
If they think black kids need a Superhero they can look up to, THENCREATE A GOOD ONE!! Don't hijack another...
Let's make Batman black or Asian.....since they're not real...right??
Its not about comic books or black superheros its about this racist man causing hate that you and I will become the victims of if we are in some situation under one of his followers. It could be a cop or a nurse or doctor. It could be a manager or banking officer. If they believe beck they will do you wrong black man.

We hear rants from the left all the time (including members of congress) declaring that anyone who opposes the policies of Barack Obama is a racist and actually hates blacks, .
Does this put people who disagree with Obama into a position where they may be attacked by people who believe the rants? Yet you have no problem with this?

No, we just call you guys bigoted racists when you spend the man's entire presidency claiming he's a Kenyan Muslim and use that as a means to remove the first black president from office.

That was my first thought, too.
My favorite "super hero(ine) was always Wonder Woman. Her costume, which was based on the American flag, has been changed in order to make her more attractive to a global audience. No more red, white and blue with stars for Wonder Woman.
It was just an opportunity for the OP to race-bait. Typical really.
Wouldn't that be Beck that is race-baiting? This topic is after all about him.
