Wells Fargo to test $3 fee for debit cards - Aug. 16, 2011

I highly recommend all Wells Fargo and Wachovia customers to jump ship. Go to a better bank or, better yet, a good credit union. That's the only way these greedy ****s will understand that they can't nickel and dime their loyal customers.

I use Wells Fargo...and if this comes to my area, I'm done with them. I hate nickel-and-dime bank fees. I never had problems with Wachovia...the jury is still out on Wells Fargo.

Three bucks a transaction is a bit bigger than "Nickle and dimes". My bank does not charge me anything.

Its not $3 per transaction, its $3/month.

I left my last bank over a $3/month ATM card fee.

Geebus. If everything (and I mean everything) isn't free, you are not my bank.

I even get refunds from fees other banks charge for using their atms.

Gosh, looks like Al Franken was ahead of his time back in 2000, when he ran for president on the single issue of ATM fees.

I use a credit card and pay it off in full every month. Credit card companies hate customers like me who pay no interest. Plus I get bonus points.

I love it when they put "our cost of doing business"

You are a bank. Without savings, you are nothing. You will not get the multi-millions dollar bonus every year.

When Chase started with the at least 1 $500 direct deposit to maintain free checking, I dropped them in 2 months.

Time to go back to good, old-fashioned cash.

Of course, if everyone did that, the banks would start charging people for every withdrawal...sigh
