Gotta love these liberal loons.

Doesn't matter if they're in separate countries they form a single metro area when population is taken into account.

To anyone who has often been there the border between Juarez and El Paso is vaporous. People come and go just as Americans go across state lines.

So stating that Ciudad Juarez is in Mexico is considered loony and liberal?

WTF??????

In related news, the world is not round but flat.

Which deserves more ridicule?

~ A congressman (D) who thinks an island 30 miles long and 8 miles wide floats in the Pacific ocean and can tip over?

~or~

~ A governor who doesn't know geography?

You'd have to visit there in person or live in Texas to know because obviously your internet & common sense skills are lacking.

What is so hard to understand they are one metro just as NYC & New Jersey are?

They are literally THAT close!

This is what Perry was getting at.

Their violence is our violence in those border cities.

The death tolls are greater than the 3 wars we are fighting.

Judging from the responses on this thread, Perry isn't the only one who thinks Juarez is an American city.

What language do they speak in Juarez, American or Mexican?

Juarez is in Mexico but Mexico is in America. Perry said America, not the USA like your misleading thread title says.

America - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

He didn't say the USA or United States of America, he said America and technically Mexico is in America just like the rest of the countries in North America. Now I know you'll simply dismiss the facts I just posted and will claim that what Perry said might have been correct but you know for a fact that he meant something else that you also assume is wrong therefore you'll continue to attack him for a mistake that's only found in your own head.

Dude give it up already.

Perry was referring to the metro, not city.

So you're saying Kansas City, Kansas isn't in the same general metro as Kansas City, Missouri?

GREAT FIND BACKSPACE!!!

So it is true, Perry said AMERICA, not UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

Huge difference.

Just as North America is different than Central & South America.

The OP twisted the whole thing to make Perry look like an idiot when he/she needs to go back & take geography all over again.
