The Republicans do not care how much damage they can cause by their "No, Nay, Never" approach to anything proposed by President Obama so long as it get one of them elected in 2012.
The damage was already done...by obama. HIS stimulus, HIS obamacare, HIS out of control regulatory regime.
Remember now all those great legislative victories of obama's in 2009/2010?
Now, why in the world would you want to repeat more of the same policies that have spectacularly FAILED?
The GOP stopped nothing.......until the historic election of 2010 put them in charge of the House and the purse strings for the purpose of stopping obama and the dems.
It's ironic, isn't it, that he keeps talking about creating jobs while he has caused more job loss than any president in history! Look at the numbers of jobs lost because of his drilling "moratorium".

You have it backwards...he needs to step aboard of what the GOP proposes because his ideas and positions are the most detrimental to our economy (not jobs...good economy produces jobs, not the other way around) since FDR.
BO doesn't have a clue. He needs to pay attention to those that know what needs to be done...a lot of what needs to be done is to rescind most of what BO has imposed on this country since stepping into the Oval Office. What a clueless idiot this guy really is.
He can propose, he can't do. He can point out those that will not do and his proposing a massive jobs initiative requiring infrastructure spending, would be well received by the majority of American people.
I certainly hope that it "would be well received by the majority of American people" is not true. If it is, woe is the USA...we would be looking at a very "uneducated" majority of American people.

When the bottom 95% of the workforce has stagnant or declining incomes, we can clearly see that the GOP has known what to do, right? Well, for 5% of earners anyway.

He is going to have to start dropping rules and regulations left and right, to create jobs here.
He is going to have to eliminate income taxes, to create jobs here.
He is going to have to tax imports, to create jobs here.
He is going to have to kick out all the illegal aliens and tell those with green cards to go home, to create jobs here.
He is going to also have to stop appointing such idiots to surround him with that are very stupid, ignorant and spout such unbelievable rhetoric such as this one he just appointed to his "economic advisory" or whatever it is called...you know, the idiot that is a college professor he announced yesterday?
