Thanks for posting the interview. It is hypocritical of the POTUS to hold a speech on job creation and at the same time having agents tell a company to use foreign labor. Then the first lady giving one of the said guitars away as a gift.

Also noted in the interview that Fender is a major competitor of Gibson is a campaign donor to the {D} party. I just wonder if this will ever shake out since Gibson does not have any judicial avenue since it is just a investigation.

Indian rosewood is perfectly legal to import, it is the ebony that got Gibson in trouble.

We really do not know if the guitar purchased by Michelle Obama has protected wood. The government should seize the guitar..run dna testing.

We do know Gibson Guitar did not donate to the Obama election campaign in 2008 but Gibson's biggest competitor did.
