Don't mind that person's question. It was interesting to read this story because I know that people go through this all the time. Some times people put themselves in that situation, yes, but a lot people just can't afford healthcare.

Also someone only 24 having to have all his teeth removed must not have brushed them ever but also ate too much sugary foods. And if he doesn't have money to buy antibiotics, I wonder why he's choosing to have children. It doesn't sound like he's going to be much of a provider for his kids.
The article was talking about wisdom teeth, that has nothing to do with not brushing your teeth. In some people there Isn't enough room in the back of the mouth for the teeth to grow and thus it begins to push against other teeth and gums often leading to infection.

i think he was a good father. without employment he put his daughter's needs first and most of the time i have been forced to not spend $27 or less on something i need because that money is for the kids, not necessarily meaning he did not have that much money. it is sad, i am on here looking for emergency dental care to take care of my tooth that is in dire need of a root canal asap because i can't afford to pay out of pocket and take care of myself. i only hope if my situation turned into a similar one, dying from an untreated toothache, that the people commenting my story would be more compassionate. don't presume you know the entire story, i am lucky enough to live where we have publix who offers their antibiotics filled for free no matter the person.

Funny how he could afford the ER visit. But not the meds. If he would of went to a reg Dr office they could have given him free antibiotics.

Newsflash: Somebody died, its so horrible!!! Solution? Create government programs that will cost hundreds of billions of dollars, even though people will still fall through the cracks like this. When people fall through the cracks of the first government program, create a program that catches people who fall through the cracks at a cost of double the first program. Problem solved!

And when the cats overrun your home and you become the "Cat Lady" it was some else's fault...

We should nationalize health care based on this ridiculously stupid assumption.
