Major Democratic donors flock to Christie | NJ.com

Quote:
The checks are flying into the Republican governor’s war chest from all sorts of unlikely places — the hedge fund run by liberal billionaire George Soros, for example, and the politically progressive halls of the University of California, Berkeley.
See... I told you the left is trying to pick the Republican nominee.

Why would I want to vote for Christie? Because he isn't as bad as that lying POS Hillary? He is another big government NE liberal. No thank you.

I think the left is pushing the idea that Christie is the logical choice to be the Republican Party nominee. This is what they did with McCain. There are much better choices than Chris Christie.
Your Opinion of Chris Christie

They're just trying to get him to change from an R to a D. He's not really an R, anyway.

Who's he gonna pick to take Lauten's place? Cory?

As a governor he has actually been pretty good for New Jersey, so I am not surprised to see him get support from both sides.

He isn't an R, but I believe they want him to run as one figuring he will lose.

edit: He was elected as a Republican, and he took on the unions, but I don't trust him to defend individual liberty.

The left didn't pick McCain. That's like saying the right picked Kerry.

Christie didn't learn from McCain's mistakes though. It's not a good idea to promote someone that can't learn from the mistakes of others.

I still think there's a pretty good chance that he could wind up as the Dem nominee in 2016. If Hillary does not run in 2016, the Dems don't really have anyone else. Hillary will be 69 in 2016 and has repeatedly said that she is tired of working 20 hour days.

All one has to do is swoon over obama and the left fall in love with them.

I like Christie.

I like Ted Cruz and Rand Paul better.

Even though Christie is a NE republican, he's probably the finest leader in the nation.

Obama has got her thinking it's a 20 hour week.

Looks like the nickname Judas Christie will serve him well

He's a republican. He's just not an off the wall extremist republican that you'll find in Texas. He's a NE republican.
