Yep, one more person in charge of Billion$, potentially Trillion$ with neither Congressional confirmation nor accountability in any way to Congress or the US taxpayers fundin his newly proposed central planners "infrastructure bank".

Obama Proposes New Czar - Page 1 - Lurita Doan - Townhall Conservative

Quote:
Instead, in the American Jobs Act, Obama is proposing a new group of czars as a part of his "jobs" act-- the American Infrastructure Financing Authority (AIFA) czars. President Obama’s newest czars will be given the authority to manage over a trillion dollars of federal funding for roads, bridges, buildings, waterways, dams and other infrastructure.
But we already have that oversight covered under Congressionally accountable bureaucracies:

Quote:
Make no mistake: the AIFA Czar position is redundant. All of the infrastructure projects and tasks identified to be performed by Obama’s new Czar are already the responsibilities of the Senate-confirmed heads of Department of Transportation, the U.S. General Services Administration and the Department of Energy.
So why does Obama repeatedly attempt to install the "infrastructure" via a shadow government of "Czars" if not to undermine the authority of Congress and the voice of the citizens? Isn't this what Marxist statists do?

I guess Barack never heard of the Department of Transportation. How many czars did Ike need to build the Interstate Highway System?
