FBI at Solyndra Headquarters | NBC Bay Area

Quote:
FBI agents armed with search warrants descended Thursday morning on bankrupt solar company Solynrda.

The investigation comes after a request by the Department of Energy's inspector general, FBI spokesman Peter Lee told NBC Bay Area News.
A lot of information has come out in the last few days about the cushy, cozy relationship with the White House.

Solyndra | White House Visits | Bankruptcy | The Daily Caller

Quote:
Not only does the now-bankrupt solar energy firm Solyndra have a cozy financial relationship with the Obama administration, company representatives also made numerous visits to the White House to meet with administration officials, The Daily Caller has learned.

According to White House visitor logs, between March 12, 2009, and April 14, 2011, Solyndra officials and investors made no fewer than 20 trips to the West Wing. In the week before the administration awarded Solyndra with the first-ever alternative energy loan guarantee on March 20, four separate visits were logged.
How did this happen?

Solyndra Got Lowest Interest Rate - ABC News

Quote:
The $535 million loan to Solyndra Inc., issued by the U.S. Department of Treasury's Federal Financing Bank, included a quarterly interest rate of 1.025 percent, the government bank reported in July. Of 18 Energy Department loans cited in the bank's report, Solyndra's rate was lowest. Eight other Energy Department projects, each also backed by the Federal Financing Bank, came with rates three or four times higher, the report shows.
Maybe they should investigate the above as well.

The feces is hitting the fan on this one.

What a disaster for obama, well deserved though, as it seems HIS WH interfered in the normal process by ignoring and bypassing the red flags raised by the agencies involved.

Can't wait for the ads of this baby.

Quote:
The chief financial officer of bankrupt start-up Solyndra, which had ramped up its operations after getting a U.S.
government loan for solar companies, declined to say on Wednesday if potential buyers would keep its business in the United States.
Seems the obama donor, head of this company, will be getting back HIS investment before the taxpayer recoups ANY of the $500+ million dollars.

What a thoroughly CORRUPT White House.

Yep, get in and find any evidence incriminating Obama's donors or Obama. Get it covered up real quick just like they have been doing with the banks & SEC and the illegal gun traffiking operations of the DOJ/BATFE/DHS/ICE/DEA

Can't be true!

obama's a different kind of politician.

I heard him say so.

"Hope and Change" became "Same old Crap"! only it's worse because the "journalists" will not look into this other than a glancing "so what?" and if someone else does more than that, they'll cry "RACIST!".

Interesting - don't know what to make of this yet given the agencies involved.

I wouldn't touch this subject with a 10 foot solar panel.
