Racism is the driving force behind the movement.
Anyone that supported Ron Paul knew then and now
who the original Tea Party was. It isn't a technicality in any
one's mind, except yours Many a article written on the
"hijacking of the Tea Party". With that said,

It isn't racism driving the "New Tea Party"
it's religion
Some of the New Tea Party Darlins are
all evangelicals:
Herman Cain who is BLACK
Rubio who is HISPANIC/Cuban
Palin who is White
Bachmann who is whiter than Palin

If McCain was elected, the left would be out in
the street demanding McCain withdraw our troops
from the Middle East because it was/is racking up
debt and killing and maiming more
of our fellow citizens.

But now, Obama is President and continues the
same war policies of Bush Jr. they mostly stay silent.
I think I'll call them hypocrites,
but you probably just call them fellow democrats

Ask this libertarian, if I really care about your
assessment of Ron Paul. No.

This.

I actually don't like him much on a personal level because he cheated on his wife with his "step-granddaughter." That is just nasty IMO. I could care less what he thinks politically or any other celebrity or most regular people for that matter. And really I don't think what he said was racist. Racism is showing extreme hate for another based on their racial background. He didn't say "I hate the TPers because they are white." He said he felt that they were focused on Obama due to Obama's race moreso than any other issue. Many people feel this to be true. That doesn't make them a racist. It makes them people who think that TPers are racist.

The only reason anyone even knows his name is because of Obama.

Also, it goes without saying that he is wrong and is just too racist or stupid himself to figure it out.
He doesn't hate my guts, he likely hates the Tea Party's guts.

Which is cool with me.
