My personal favorite is when Obama said his uncle helped liberate Auschwitz.

Not only is there questions on where Obama is born, now there might have been a communist in his family tree.

Iraq never attacked America, regardless of your inept reasoning.

America, up to that SAD point in our history, never mindlessly Slaughtered thousands ...because a prez (Bush) had a personal agenda.
Most of your democrats voted for the war in Iraq. Once the war was started we found some weapons of mass destruction but not many. Then terrorists from neighboring countries joined in the war against America. Our military killed these terrorists before they could attack us again. We were better off fighting them over there than here. This happened just a few years ago. The revisionist history has started already?

When the nation was growing up once a US territory had at least 50,000 US citizens it could petion the US Congress for statehood and if approved become a state. Thus was last done in 1959 when Alaska and Hawaii become the last US territories to become states. All of the above US territories counld become states if they wished since they meet tgat hurdle. Even small territories like Midway and Wake if combined with Johnston, Christmas and a few other mid-pacific islands could become a state. A seventh state could be the District of Columbia which as a resident population of about 800,000 and has a statehood political movement. Also from time to time their jave been voices calling for some of our larger and politically fractous states like California, New York, Texas , Illinois and Floridia. to be subdivided into two or more new states. Examples, Northern and Southern California, Upstate and Down state New York. Panhandle Florida and South Florida, Chicagoland and Downstate Illinois. Texas fissioning into at least 4 new states. So a Seventy Star Spangled Banner cound be a possiblity.

Somebody actually did build an intercontinental railroad The Russians who built the Trans-Siberian Railway from Moscow (Europe) to Port Arthur in China (Asia) and later to Vldivostok (Asia) both on the Pacific coast. This railroad is 8,500 miles long and the Soviets made it an electrified rail line.
Tje Germans were trying to built a Berlin to Baghdad Railroad which was largely done by WW1 and the Brotish dreamed of a Cape to Cairo Railroad to unite all of British Africa. A Intersontinental Road Americans have helped bankroll is the Pan-American Highway from Alaska all the way to Southern most Chile.

Interesting fact on his Thursday speech...

His round-trip flight on Air Force One took four hours, he spoke for 17 minutes.

Cost to operate Air Force One? $181,000.00 per hour.
Okay............ your point ???? obama wasnt the first president to ride air force one for hours only to give a short speech and wont be the last president either

This is the most "reasonable" comment on this thread, so far.
