The teenager who shot you as well as the poster who said you were stupid are lost. As if somehow your actions are responsible for destructive behavior. You deserve better.
Unfortunately not too many will stand up for others. You always have to fight for your freedoms and liberty. All it takes is one voice to get things going. "Never let it be said that I stood idly by and did nothing"

I don't really expect a whole lot from blacks. I assume some decent blacks are horrified by this behavior.
My main complaint is with a media and some elites who either make false accusations against some groups, like Morgan Freeman just did with the Tea Party, or take a small isolated incident of white racism to indict all of white society. Not too fun when the shoe is on the other foot.
But our mainstream media has a "see no evil hear no evil speak no evil" attitude toward these awful attacks in a way they never would if the situation were reversed. They treat black on white violence like Voldomort in the Harry Potter stories- an issue that must not be named.
I find it quite ironic that you are complaining about "small isolated incidents of White racism" while asserting that small incidents of Black racism (flash mobs)are actual rampant. Do you not get the hypocrisy in your statement?
Do you think that each and every incident involving White-on-Black racism will end up on the 5 o'clock news? Hardly. Do I care that each and every racist act (no matter the color of the victim) is not on the Nightly News? Not at all. Does this mean that I condone, approve or take pleasure in violence against others? Not at all.
The same people always flock to these threads to whine about the "injustices" committed against the helpless, oppressed white man. While I feel for the victim in this incident, I feel for the victims in countless other incidents. When you find yourself becoming so much more emotionally charged about black on white crime and never mention, shed a tear or bat an eyelash about any other type (white on white, white on black, black on black, etc.), you are racist, period.
The mainstream media does focus on certain stories more than others, but it isn't always about race. Do you feel that it is when there is black child missing? How many times have we seen non-white children get as much air time on Nancy Grace, CNN, FOX or even local stations as Jon Bennet or Kaylee Anthony? Was this racially motivated? Are non-white children's lives less valued than white children? Why are you not angry about this? Where is the outrage? Crime is crime, right?
YOU said they were a flash mob. Flash mobs attack people because they are white. The article did not state it was a flash mob. I told you that we have not had any flash mob attacks in Atlanta. You proved my point being that your proof consisted of a story about a local youth gang.
I said that I personally don't consider any gangs in Atlanta as serious. I'm from the Midwest where we have the Gangsta Disciples, Vice Lords, Crips, Bloods, etc. organizations/gangs that are notorious. BFPL is a group of teenagers who are nothing like the aforementioned real gangs.
The demographics of this group makes no difference. You are trying to put "flash mobs" somewhere where they do not exist. Get your facts straight. We do not have "flash mob" violence here in Atlanta.
A large group of kids attacking innocent people does not equal a mob nor does it equal a "flash mob" no matter the demographics.
We have a president who divides with class warfare. It is his power now. Obama is a socialist. United Soviet Socialist Republic is now defunct.. it does not work. Obama is not a smart man if he works to bring in socialism which will bankrupt our country. Obama wants division and it shows through the Congress .
I mentioned Atlanta and several other cities because I saw another article that listed the locations of the mob attacks. Call it what you want. I could not care less.
You shouldn't believe articles that you read. You should get your facts straight. Nothing similar to a so called "flash mob" violence has occurred in Atlanta at all. I do not appreciate you stating that such acts happened in the city I live in. I am not even a lover of this city but it is my home and I don't want to see it slandered or put into the mix of lies. Though I have my own gripes about the city, I do believe that Atlanta is much less racist and has much less racial issues than many northern, northeastern, mid-western, southeastern, and western major cities.

I also do not condone any violence but I feel that Rick Roma was trying to insinuate that there are problems here in Atlanta where black people go around targeting white people on MARTA (which is one of the safest mass transit systems in the country) just because they are white.
