No big surprise. They know we'll just roll over and keep giving them money no matter what.

The problem isn't just that we will roll over. The problem is that a LOT of Americans are willing to let America roll over with Israel into the hole Zionists started to dig over a hundred years ago.

This whole thing is like TOTALLY the Palestinians' fault. I'll give you a couple of examples.

Nat Turner: Nat Turner was a slave in Southampton County, Virginia. Apparently, he was not very pleased with his condition and hated his slave masters. So instead of entering into PEACEFUL negotiations, he started an insurrection, which led to the deaths of 56 whites and 55 blacks. If he had learned to love peace more than he hated his enemies, he and his followers would have lived. The whites in Southampton County had no choice but to defend themselves. Nat Turner brought it upon himself.

William Wallace: William Wallace was a Scot who lived during the 13th Century. At the time, England ruled Scotland. Many Scots were unhappy about it, as the English took their land, their cattle and even their wives. William Wallace then started using violence by raiding English towns and garrisons. He hated the English more than he loved peace, and instead of NEGOTIATING, he went on a killing spree. Because of him, thousands of Scots and Englishman lost their lives. He left the English with no choice. They had to defend themselves.

John Brown: John Brown led the raid on Harper's Ferry, Virginia. Did he really need to use violence? His blind hatred for slaveowners caused him to lash out in a most irrational way. Because of his blind hatred, hundreds of people were killed.

I'm sure history will judge these men unkindly.

So sorry that you don't like the Palestinians, but the Israelis are war-mongers.
There is no where in any of my statements that I have an issue with the Palestinian people in general. My issue is with their leaders and the minority of Palestinians that follow them. Israel was not the first to occupy them, Egypt & Jordan were. Their first leader at the conclusion of the mandate was allied to Hitler. For 18 years they were occupied by fellow Arabs that gave them much less freedoms than they have now. For 18 years the UN did nothing to complete the mandate. In 1967 the Israelis were attacked by bordering Arab countries and took the rest of the mandate from Egypt & Jordan. Thus its all Israeli land since it all sits within Israels borders. No other country is held to such a high standard than Israel. Nearly every country around them committed atrocities against non Arabs and no one batted an eye. Just look at the al-Anfal Campaign in Iraq where nearly 100,000 people were killed. And look at all the Arab countries killing its citizens and all the UN states is that its an internal matter. Yet Israel has more palestinian prisoners in its prisons then it ever killed in 63 years of existence. So how is Israel the warmonger?

The only way Israel can prevent settlements from being targeted is, well, to build even more settlements for the Palestinians to fire rockets at.
Do a web search for any rocket attacks on settlements around Jerusalem, you wont find any. You will find suicide bombings, yet none of them were in the near proximaty to do damage to the city of Jerusalem.

So Israel evicts Palestinians, bulldozes their houses, and builds new houses for Israelis.
They evict people who have no proof of ownership of the land. They attempt to purchase property from those who do have proof. Then if nothing else works then they take the land by court order and pay them market value for it. What do you think eminent domain is used for in the US?

So where were you when over a 800,000 Jews were evicted from the surrounding Arab countries?

How many Jews are left in Arab countries? Maybe 4000 is total.

Stop portraying Arabs as all innocent victims of the Jews.

What a crock of stinky BS the title of this thread. You imply that Israel must do as we say! They obviously think all of Jerusalem is theirs to build as they please. If they are digging themselves further into trouble, this is their problem, not ours.

China today decided to build a thousand units in Chingchong, did we get upset they didn't ask our permission?

I don't have any comments about the building of settlements but I sometimes wonder about the gung ho cheerleaders in the Democratic and Republican Party who slavishly support Israel. Do these cheerleaders have a dual loyalty issue? And if America and Israel went to war who would they support, Israel or America? The weirdest thing about most of these cheerleaders (such as Glenn Beck) is that they don't have any kind of cultural, financial, or ethnic connection to Israel.

Some people will claim it's because of the Jewish lobby in Washington. The bottom line is they see a parallel between their struggle against Islamic extremism and our own.

I don't think you will ever see Israel and the US go to war. The very question is silly. You don't ask who will people support if the US and UK ever go to war again.

Little known fact: transferring territories to and from occupied territory is a violation of the Geneva Conventions. Israel gets away with it in the West Bank (much to the chagrin of pretty much the whole world) because the status of Palestine is so murky. Bu Israel built settlements in the Sinai Peninsula (before being forced to give it back) and the Golan heights, clearly a breach of international law.

I don't know why our presidents involve us in that region. Clearly, neither side respects us enough not to spit on the effort we put in to mediate peace for them.

Then they shouldn't ask, or expect, US support in the United Nations.

If you ask for help, then do whatever you want despite what those that helped you have ask, then you can't be upset when they don't help again.

My problem with Israel is that the United States continually puts themselves out there to support them, then Israel continues to just do what they want, regardless of how it effects us.
