awesome. please pay for your own trash service, fire and police protection, road maintenance, and educate your own children to name just a few things...oh and don't go to the hospital unless you have insurance, i wouldn't want other tax payers having to pay for you.
what you effectively want is anarchy...oh wait...is there even such a thing?

agree...see above for more sarcasm
3) Abolition of all rights of inheritance - ( partial/in progress) Federal and state "estate" inheritance taxes; Probate Laws and procedures.
the 'death tax' (which i assume is the most repugnant)...affects approximately 2% of americans. WOW...seems to me this is around the same percent of americans in the top 97% of AGI tax filers

5) Centralization of credit in the hands of the State, by means of a national bank with state capital and an exclusive monopoly.

Quote:
(Complete) Federal Reserve System is a private monopoly controlling the currency and credit of the nation ... sets interest rates and controls the volume and flow of money.

agree but this has been an argument since the country was founded. what's your point?
6) Centralization of the means of communication and transportation in the hands of the State. (Complete) Federal Communications Commission (FCC); Department of Transportation (DOT) The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Executive orders; mandated driver's licenses, vehicle registration, and Department of Transportation regulations.
don't know how FCC, DOT and FAA get lumped with state req's for DL's and vehicle reg's....if the DOT and state DOT's didn't build roads, who would? perhaps we could tear it all up and let the pvt industry do it? then we could have a new reality tv show...Ice road trucker's: america's dangerous roads.
FAA....who else would control communications that impact daily life? the pvt sector? wow...so "he" who has the most money would control all? and dictate to us? oh that's right, the little person (mom n pop) would have the capital to own some of this.
Oh...driving a car...it's a privilege NOT A RIGHT!
7) Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State, the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan. (Relatively Complete) - The Department of Agriculture; Department of Commerce; Department of Labor; Department of Interior; the Environmental Protection Agency; Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation, Bureau of Mines, National Park Service, IRS corporate regulations,.[/qoute]
see earlier comments....let's remove all dam construction cuz the pvt sector can afford to build them on their own. we will also turn over vast amounts of ag production to natural lands again so we can be more dependent on foreign food imports (another great idea).

8) Equal liability of all to labor. Establishment of Industrial armies, especially for agriculture.

Quote:
(Complete) Department of Labor; Various equal rights movements, particularly Women's Liberation creating a two "income" families which are almost required now to survive ... 19th amendment of the Constitution, the Civil Rights Act of 1964, various Socialist Unions, affirmative action, the Federal Public Works Program, FDR's "New Deal" started this ball in motion.
|
scary but i agree with you re: the two income issue but then you continue to go on.
the federal gov't can either do the work itself (eg FDR's programs) or privatise it....wait, 80% of workers work for a company that has a government contract so 80% of workers are actually pseudo gov't employees....now that's a wild concept. Don't see how ag fits in with this?

(Complete and self explanatory)
Now, the more overt signs of totalitarianism is all around you .... creation of the Department of Homeland Security; legislation such as the Patriot Act and Military Commissions Act; Open Discussion of lawful and needed "Torture" and Rendition, to include declaring US Citizens enemy terrorists and revoking citizenship and rights of due process; TSA and the electronic strip searching and aggressive physical screening; establishment of "Free Speech Zones" away from public view at functions like the Democratic and Republican National Conventions; Storm Trooper Thugs beating protesters at functions like the G20 and other "Globalist" gatherings.
Then we have a new doctrine of "Preemptive Wars" and bombing and invading other countries without a declaration of war by congress, and in the case if Obama and Pakistan and Libya ... no congressional approval whatsoever ... the list goes on and on and on.
But it couldn't happen here, aye? Keep telling yourself that .... all the way to the FEMA Camp.

i would be more worried about a pluto-corporatocracy than communism...wait...money = speech and "he" who speaks loudest is usually the most often heard regardless of the message. we are already here.
