Generally speaking I'm not a fan of Israel but Damn that's outstanding!
Edit: And as I think about it I realize more of my tax money was used more efficiently to build that wickedly awesome autocannon that protects Israel's border than went to protect my own.

These illegal invaders have been coming across our borders for a century. In years gone by, we all turned a blind eye and accepted their presence. Want them to leave? Pass legislation forbidding them to recieve any social benefits, increase the fines to say 250K for hiring an illegal alien, "per alien", and finally make it a crime to rent or sell property to illegal aliens. We also need to change the proceedure for entering the country legally so that we can still accept those who would be beneficial to our country.

OK wise guy, how will that stop those overstaying their visa?
So what do you want? For them to keep coming here? You realize most illegal aliens in this country are not visa overstayers right? A huge number is but what do you propose?
I like the idea of an electrified fence. Make it known in Mexico, Central and South America and if they still try to cross, it is on them. If they die, it is THEIR fault.
The illegals, like it or not, are the ones changing your hotel bed linens and working your big ag fields with hard work ethic and physical strength that American workers cannot match, despite the miserable pay. Let's see what happens when those jobs get offered to legals. Who will take these slave labor jobs? What will the living wage have to be to attract workers? What will the field conditions have to be to retain workers?
I applied for a job as part of a CLEANING CREW in the Boston area but was turned down because one of the requirements is that I speak SPANISH. Can't say I tried. Do you think they require such skill to cater to their LEGAL immigrant group? NOPE. Do you think I am the only American who has ever turned down to do such job because I didn't speak Spanish? I doubt it. Always catering to people. It is disgusting.
Keep drinking the Kool-Aid New England girl.

It's not about liberal bleeding hearts..."it's the Economy, "
Read up. You may be paying $14 a pound for those tomatoes.
Here are a few ramifications (take a look at the pics), so as it's not so simplistic:
Georgia Farmers Blame Immigration Law For Lack Of Workers : The Two-Way : NPR Georgia Farmers Say Immigration Law Keeps Workers Away
Stanley says experienced workers can earn as much as $200 a day. He
says he's tried to hire locals to do the job — working in the fields eight
hours or more clipping, bending and lifting in the oppressive Georgia
heat.
"They just don't want to do this hard work. And they'll tell you right
quick," he says. "I have 'em to come out and work for two hours and they
said, 'I'm not doing this. It's too hard.' "
For Stanley, finding workers is already tough enough and he says the new
restrictions are likely to make it worse."I got my livelihood on the line,"
he says. "If I don't harvest these onions, I'll lose my farm."
http://farmworkersforum.wordpress.com/2011/04/24/changes-to-laws-affect-farmers-who-employ-h-2a-workers/”But (broken link) as one farmer in the audience said,
“If we could find enough Americans to do the work, we wouldn’t be here.”
Wilcoxson said most Americans are not willing to work in the fields all
day, cutting and storing tobacco. He told a story of a farmer who needed
24 workers. He got 18 U.S. applicants, and only one was “worth a dime.”
“You can’t get good workers on a farm today. … It’s a dirty, nasty job,” he
said.
As far as Wilcoxson is concerned, he said the H-2A workers are “good as
gold,” just family men trying to make some money so they can send it
back home. Other farmers at Tuesday’s meeting shared the same
feelings. One Tennessee farmer said that in 15 years, only three H-2A
workers he has hired have not worked out. Wilcoxson said that no matter
the complications of following regulations, the H-2A program is necessary
to the Kentucky tobacco industry.”
Perhaps if your kid's job gets outsourced to India or China, she'd apply for one of these jobs?
You realize that H-2A workers are NOT illegal aliens right?
Farmers can bring as many workers as they wish but most of them would rather employ illegals who will work for half the money that an American or even a H-2A worker would.
Then they lose their beloved employees due to laws such as the one in Alabama and paint themselves as victims.
Stop ALL the incentives including in-state tuition, financial aid, WIC, free housing, free k-12 education and also BIRTHRIGHT CITIZENSHIP which was never meant to include children of illegal aliens, fine employers a minimum of 100K per illegal alien they hire and they will self-deport.
STOP ALL THE NONSENSE!
