We are trying to play the same game as they are and Keynesian economics just do not work. Haven't we learned that in the last 3 years?

It's more like the end of the beginning. The Greek officials will do what they have to do regardless of what the protesters do. They really have no other choice other than default, which would end up hurting their country a lot more than the austerity measures they will vote to approve.

You mean it will hurt the politically connected, the business elite, and the bankers. The rest of the nation will be fine.

Why should Greek workers have their property and livelihood's taken from them to pay off bankers in France, Germany, UK and the USA?

Let me take a wild stab at answering your question: Could it be because Greece borrowed money from these banks and loans usually need to be repaid?

It takes two to tango, even in a rigged game.

Let's hope it's the beginning of the end for Britain's membership of the EU as we know it: Parliament is going to vote next week on a national referendum on staying a member on the current terms (), loosening the terms of membership () or getting out altogether ()

if you think the world will not be effected by a Greek default you are sadly mistaken.
It will be the start of a domino effect. Right behind Greece is Italy, Portugal and Spain.

Then..France/Germany will have lots of defaulted debt so then they will be in trouble.

How much has Uncle Ben given to them ? Who knows because our Fed is so secretive that we may not find out until it all comes out in the wash.
