How bout pass the damn highway bill? They ever think of that?

No this is what they really want...........

"The new proposal includes $10 billion to create a national “infrastructure bank” to leverage private and public capital for various projects. "

Yet another slush fund to hand out taxpayer money like Solyndra and the rest of the green boondoggle.

Will they be shovel ready this time or will your great orator just laugh it all off again as he wasted a trillion bucks??

I love this statement from the Obama administration from a {R} Ray LaHood :

Quote:
LaHood said today that $48 billion in transportation spending in the 2009 stimulus measure supported 55,000 new jobs. A further boost in transportation will help yield more jobs, with the effect extending into 2012, he said.
Oh boy lets spend another 50 billion{ on borrowed money} that supports another 55,000 jobs and our economy will be booming

It's really not a stimulus bill, it's a subsidy bill.

We are $14.6 trillion in debt. How about make the hard decisions and start CUTTING spending.

Spending is easy, as it requires no difficult decisions, appeals to the voter base that benefits from such spending, and assures the re-election of fiscally irresponsible representatives.

Spending should be a dirty word.
