In a contract dispute, DirecTv says that Fox is overcharging its customers by 40% and say if an agreement is not reached by Nov. 1, they are pulling the plug.

It is like Dish Network. I have direct tv love their service I don't understand how Fox is charging me money to get their channels? I pay 55$ a month for direct tv. I don't pay fox.

And? If you're hoping that FNC gonna be offline for good, don't count on it. It'll probably go online again in the same day like ABC did. But, I only watching FNC all but 10 minutes a week, and sometimes watch Freedom Watch and Stossel. I mostly listen to the radio for news

DTV will have the plug pulled on them in return. The only reason I subscribe to satellite TV is to get FOX & FOX News business.

Thanks for the head's up. I'll be contacting DTV and letting them know that if they pull the pulg on FOX that they will be losing this customer.

I really don't care if Fox is on or not. I don't watch it. I just posted it because I thought it was interesting.

This happens everytime a distributor and channel get into contract talks.
"We'll just pull the plug" and everytime they settle at the 11th hour.

I agree. I couldn't care less, really, if Fox had the plug pulled on them, but the blackout would never last longer than 24 hours, especially since Fox Networks is a large part of the channel lineup on DTV

Why the eleventh hour? Don't they know there are 24 hours in a day? They could totally wait until the 23 hour and fifty nine minutes to make that call.
