Here's The Real Reason Why Occupy Wall Street Protesters Aren't Getting Kicked Out Of Zuccotti Park

Quote:
Coming on the heels of the Solyndra debacle, the Obama administration has just approved a $168.9 million loan guarantee for the Granite Reliable wind farm project owned by Brookfield Asset Management (BAM).

Among its many holdings BAM owns Brookfield Renewable Power, which owns the Granite Reliable and it also owns Brookfield Office Properties, whose holdings include the now famous Zuccotti Park.
So the owner of the park was going to remove them to clean up, then he backed down. Now we know why. He has been bought with tax payer money by the Obama Administration.

Mayor Bloomberg's girlfriend is also on the board of Brookfield along with the owner of the park.

The president complains about about crony capitalism - but he is the one practicing it. He buys people with our money to advance his agenda.

John Zucotti is rich by the way (as noted at the link), but for some reason, he escapes the class envy scrutiny.

Looks like more conspiracy theories. The protesters cleaned up the park themselves to the satisfactory of Bloomberg and the park's owners, which allowed them to stay.

Department of Energy Finalizes Loan Guarantee of Nearly $170 Million to Granite Reliable Power

Quote:
U.S. Energy Secretary Steven Chu announced today the Department of Energy finalized a partial guarantee for $168.9 million loan to Granite Reliable Power, LLC. The loan guarantee will support a 99 megawatt (MW) wind generation project that will be New Hampshire’s largest wind farm. The project will be located in Coos County in northern New Hampshire, approximately 110 miles north of Concord. Project sponsors, BAIF Granite Holdings, LLC and Freshet Wind Energy, LLC, expect the project will fund nearly 200 construction jobs.
You know - without the correct context, this looks like your normal waste of taxpayer money in the solar power industry. But now it seems like a means to get money in the right hands to help the Obama Administration and destroy capitalism.

Don't believe they cleaned anything. Bloomberg is bought off via his girlfriend. Park owner is bought off. They are no longer believable.

Of course they did, there is plenty of footage showing the protesters were up all night cleaning the park. It's a much more logicial thing for them to do the cleanup themselves, then to hire outside firms and/or use taxpayer funds to pay for it. It's a win/win situation.
