At least 200 people have been arrested during clashes between police and Occupy Wall Street demonstrators in New York City, part of a day of mass gatherings in response to efforts to break up Occupy Wall Street camps nationwide.

I think Democrats would be wise to keep their distance from these people. The vast majority of Americans are not impressed with people who are taken to jail for civil disobedience on a regular basis.

As in doing something that is breaking the law to get locked up. People dont mind peaceful protest. People do mind whats happening now

Imagine if it were you simply trying to walk your child home from school and a protester is walking behind your child screaming and scaring your child.

Or walking by watching people use the bathroom on police cars

Or pushing police down to the ground

Or the rapes happening

or throwing molotov cocktails

Even the liberal city council of Los Angeles are regretting supporting the OWS. It's been nearly two months and the campers are still occupying the lawn in front of city hall wih no intention of leaving.
